Dear Diary,
Last night was a symphony of chaos and beauty. I decided fate was overrated, so I left it at home with my socks. Heaven might be waiting, but I told it to cool its clouds because I had dancing to do.
The club was electric. Some people were like water: chill and flowing. Others were pure heat, setting the room ablaze. I tried being a melody, but I kept stepping on beats (and toes). Yet, somehow, I felt forever young... Or at least until my knees reminded me they’ve seen a few decades.
There was this moment: a wild, glorious, spin-me-till-I’m-dizzy moment, when I swear time stood still. Or maybe I was just out of breath. Either way, I clung to the night like glitter clings to your face.
As I stumbled out into the early morning, I realized: I don’t want to live forever forever... but I wouldn’t mind one more dance. Just one more time.
