Proud Papi
I know I don't talk about them often,
but I'm proud of my daughters, Medusa & Elyssa, and I know that
their mother, Jaz, would also be proud of them if she was alive.
Elyssa, my youngest, is training to represent Toronto as a member
of Toronto's official soccer team. She'd scold me if she heard me call it
'soccer' instead of 'football', but that's how I roll. It's 'soccer' to me!
Either way, I'm proud of her. I wish she'd smoke less weed, but I'm still
proud of her.
Medusa, on the other hand, she's my oldest, and I love her, too.
I recently found out that, apparently, she'll be getting married soon,
and I've never even met the young fellow whom she'll be marrying.
I think she's too young to marry, and she lacks the life experience
and maturity to make such a commitment to a man she hasn't known
for very long. But WHY should MY opinion count, I'm ONLY her father!
I just hope this marriage will mellow her, and get her away from the
life of crime that she's been leading.
You can't live your children's lives for them.
All you can do is try your best to raise them right,
then you just have to chill back and hope for the best.
Shout-outs to my best friend, Bailee, for sort of befriending my daughters
and trying to be a positive influence in their lives. They mostly grew-up
without their mother, and even though Bailee is not much older than my
daughters, she's really taken the initiative to help me with them.
