🎧 Soundtrack to My Week: Candy Crush(ed)

This week felt like living inside a studio-shaped universe — the kind where time blurs, melodies overlap, and inspiration hits in colors brighter than stage lights. I spent most of my days shaping DREAMIX’s upcoming concept, and somewhere in the middle of that creative whirlwind… a new song was born.

Candy Crush(ed).

It started as a fun metaphor — a relationship sweet enough to feel like candy, then gradually turning sour in a way that’s almost addictive to write about. What surprised me was how naturally the melody flowed, almost like it had been waiting in the background for its moment to spill out. The song is playful on the surface, but if you listen closely, it carries a quiet ache… that familiar pinch of disappointment wrapped in sugar.

That duality defined my entire week:
✨ bright, energetic creativity on the outside
🍋 a sharper emotional tone underneath
I guess that’s why Candy Crush(ed) became my personal soundtrack — it mirrors the way art sometimes chooses you, instead of the other way around.

Every layer of the track felt like a small experiment:
the soft intro, the bubbly beats, the slightly bitter bridge that refuses to resolve too peacefully… it all came together like a colorful puzzle. DREAMIX’s new concept is all about contrast, and this song became the heart of that contrast before I even realized it.

If this week had a sound, it would be exactly this:
sweet, sour, and unexpectedly honest — the kind of loop you can’t stop replaying.

More than anything, I’m excited to share it with all of you soon.
Sometimes creativity is loud, sometimes quiet, but this week… It sang.
