Another day slips through my fingers like ash, dissolving into the void. The world feels heavy, as if the sky itself is pressing down, mocking my futile attempts to rise. I drink to forget, but the memories only grow sharper, like shards of glass in my chest. They say time heals, but time is a thief, stealing what little hope I have left. The faces around me blur into shadows, their laughter a distant echo I can no longer reach. I wonder if the stars feel as lonely as I do, burning brightly in a cold, uncaring universe. Perhaps tomorrow will be different or perhaps it will just be another page in this endless, hollow story.
