ooc: happy new year
As 2024 comes to an end, I have a few things to say. I am deeply tired of my goodwill being taken for granted and the kindness I extend to others seeming to hold no meaning. While some people are only now beginning to realize certain truths, I’ve been reflecting on them for months. This year, many moves were made. You wanted to play life like a chessboard, and in the end, you got what you wanted.
Next year, I’m letting go of all of it. I’m letting go of everything. I will no longer speak as much as I used to. I choose to forget the scars left on me by the people I trusted. Healing takes time, and I am not a master strategist. I’ve learned from my own mistakes and chosen to fight my battles with kindness. Even though they tried to make me regret it, I’m offering a chance in 2025. If anyone wants to make amends, you know where to find me.
I no longer wish to hold grudges or be at odds with anyone. I will remain neutral—please don’t ruin this for me.
I hope the coming year brings happiness to all of us.
