Monday – The Raid

Sydney couldn't believe his slumber-filled eyes. Not only did Jessica wake him up at 6 a.m. on a Monday for a surprise search of his room, but she also looked as if she knew exactly what she was looking for and where to find it.

"Not mine!" he mumbled when shown a pack of fireworks freshly pulled from under his bed.

"Somebody must have got into my room while I was at school," he explained as his nanny waved at him a bottle rocket duct-taped to a Hot Wheels car.

"For science purposes?" he hesitantly declared when faced with one of his dad's old nude magazines.

By the time he got downstairs, Autumn was looking like she was about to sue someone, while Cookie was sobbing into her cereal over a confiscated box of "midnight cookies."

"They were medicinal. I have a doctor's note," she pleaded between sniffs.

"It’s like she’s psychic," Cookie then whispered.

Autumn narrowed her eyes. "Or someone told her."

Sydney froze. "Who would sink so low as to snitch on us?"

"Whoever it is, they must feel pretty pleased with themselves, but mark my words, they will pay. Oh, Kobe, yes, they will pay," Autumn swore under her breath.

Meanwhile, somewhere in Los Angeles,
Gia and Dolly slept peacefully.
Smiling. Dreaming. Feeling pretty, pretty pleased with themselves.
