Beneath the falling stars

The night embraced them in a quiet stillness, the kind that made the world feel far away. They sat close, just the two of them, on a blanket spread over the soft grass of a lonely hill. Above them stretched the infinite sky, scattered with stars. The full moon hung low, casting its silver glow over their faces. And then, the meteor shower began, streaks of light dancing across the dark velvet sky.

He turned his head toward her, and the moonlight spilled into his golden hair, catching every strand like fire touched by ice. She watched him, mesmerized. The curve of his smile, the way his eyes softened when they met hers, it stirred something fierce and beautiful inside her. A hunger not just for his touch, but for his soul. She wanted to memorize every part of him, to be wrapped in his presence until time forgot to move forward.

He reached for her hand, gently, and she laced her fingers through his without hesitation. No words were needed. The silence between them was sacred, filled with knowing. She leaned her head against his shoulder, breathing in his scent, familiar, comforting, irresistible.
