In the amusement park in my mind, words run from one roller coaster to the next, as if in ecstasy. I see one of them has gone off to try its luck at shooting, while the other is in the queue of a lemonade stand.

Sparkling, fun, each street a different discovery, a different story—magical.

My words are like walking on a tightrope, instilling a delightful fear, the kind of fear before you first step onto the stage, but they won't fall, because there's a nest beneath them, ready to embrace. Still, I have the strongest urge to create something else than sentences. I have a silly belief that the screams of joy rising up at the amusement park must find life somewhere else, too. Just tell them, right? No, that’s not me.

So. That's why, it's all because of pleasure, or because of extraordinary moments: My new recipe. Please serve it cold. With lots of ice. Or not. Of course, I'm not sharing how to prepare part, isn't that where the excitement lives?

🍸 The Knight

• 1 shot Irish whiskey
• 1 shot freshly brewed espresso
• 1 teaspoon brown sugar
• A float of lightly whipped cream (yeah, that one.)
• ½ shot dark rum
• A dash of chili bitters
• A splash of orange liqueur
• One fresh daisy from my garden
