Special Lyrics
there was a king in ancient times
his name now long forgotten
deeds that he did still told in tales
I'll tell you one, now listen
the king ruled his country fair, I suppose
his queen aiding so the work was done fast
a celebration in their honour was proposed
when ten years of their reign had passed
there was just one thing not quite right
in the whole land the kingdom contained
the old people told tales of a terrible sight
a monster even, living up in the mountains
the rumours were wild, and varied a lot
but no-one knew where they originate
some told the beast had three heads and an evil plot
some believed it could transform into anything it ate
the king didn't believe in this nonsense
and went on to do whatever kings do
but on the morning of the party things were tense
the queen had vanished and no-one knew what to do
every place was searched, but to no avail
after a week the king had lost all hope
just then a traveller came with a new trail
he had seen the queen with the beast, tied in ropes
the king took off to get back his wife
the traveller volunteered to be his guide
they went through wild forests and deserts with strife
finally making it to the mountain side
they entered a cave, large and pitchdark
the traveller had seen the beast take the queen there
and not for long did they have to walk
before they saw the creature appear
