A daughter!
5/12-2009 13:00
While touring in Nashville, my lovely wife Dionne noticed the baby was on its way. Miraculously enough, the baby stayed put all the way to Seattle and all Valentin's Day long. We had a day's break in Seattle and with perfect timing, Dionne gave birth midnight to december 5, in Children's Hospital in Seattle.
Shortly after the birth, we moved to Juanita's Love Hotel to rest and relax. Dionne, me and our young baby girl.
She has already gotten a nappy, pink dress and a Teletubbies suit on. The pink microphone and the teddy-bear are put beside her.
Dionne and me looked at each other and each of us radiated happiness. We discussed her name. From room service I ordered a juice and lasagne for Dionne. She looked exhausted.
At a ceremony at King County Courthouse when it opened at 09:00, our daughter was officially given the name Summer.
Dionne has the strength of a bear. She declines to cancel tonights show even though she gave birth just 9 hours ago. The sweet, caring mum gave ear plugs so our baby will not get shock when on concert.
The only bad think about my new sportscar is that it does not fit both my wife and new baby. I'm feeling so lonely here I drive on Interstate 1 towards Los Angeles.
