When I first saw you, you were just that "weird guy with pineapples". Who even wears such a T-shirt and still looks hot?!

I never imagined that the annoying guy I met at the airport in Rio would become anything more than a fun argument starter. At that moment, you were just a "good enough" one-night stand. I never thought that in such a short time, you would transform from a "good enough" short-term bed partner into "the only one" for me. You became my everything - my best friend, most loyal bandmate, and the love of my life.
Now, when I see pineapples in the store, I can't help but smile. They will probably remind me of you for the rest of my life: that brave man who was supposed to run away after one night but stayed for life and eternity.
Will we stop periodically getting angry and annoying the hell out of each other? Probably not.
Will I stop periodically offering to leave so you can be happy without me? Probably not.
Will I stop periodically thinking that you don't love me anymore and would rather be with some extra sexy, big-breasted blonde? Probably not.
But I know that no matter what happens or how much we fight, you are still the only man I will love forever.
And I'll never want to let you go, even when I say with tears in my eyes that you can leave. Let me tell you a secret: every time I say this, I just want you to hug me, tell me that you love me and that you will never leave this silly, very annoying, jealous, and sometimes (okay, often) aggressive wife. And you usually do, so maybe it's not such a secret. You probably know what I want better than I do.
