Lets Talk More About Baldurs Gate 3
Does anyone get sick of me talking about this game? Well, tough luck! 😂
I’ve finished this game twice already and am about to complete it for the third time—if I can find the time. There’s no other game that has ever made me play it more than once. Not even The Witcher 3, and after playing that, I was so hooked I went on to read the entire book saga.
So, what makes this game so incredibly captivating for me?
It’s a combination of a beautiful story, well-written characters, and endless possibilities! There are so many branching paths that can shape the ending—not just for the character you create but also for your companions, depending on the choices you make. And then, there’s the studio that created the game.
Why do I include the studio alongside the game itself?
Because they truly respected the world they created, the fanbase, and the story. Unlike the disastrous The Witcher TV adaptation (Ugh 🤮).
I’ve convinced a handful of people to play this game after I did, and they loved it just as much as I do. (I’m going to make all of you addicted to this game, just like I am now! And no, I’m not part of the development team trying to sell it—I’m just a happy gamer who loves D&D, the mechanics of the game, and the incredible craftsmanship behind it.)
I truly appreciate the effort the studio put into creating this masterpiece, from the intricate storytelling to their willingness to listen to the audience. They even went as far as creating characters inspired by players’ stories (check out Golbraith Stredivas!).
I don’t know how many more runs I’ll play, but I just can’t seem to get bored of it. If you’re looking for a beautiful story, give this game a try—you won’t regret it!
