The wolf dream
Last night, somewhere between the hum of engines and the hush of clouds outside the jet window, the wolf in me dreamed. He saw the stage lights as moons, the crowd as shadows howling back. His body was covered in old scars - not hidden, not healed, just... there.
And in the middle of the noise, she appeared. Calm. Unafraid. She touched the scars like relics, didn’t flinch, didn’t ask for explanations. She didn’t fix the beast. Just stayed.
Turned wreckage into rhythm. Turned ache into something holy.
The wolf woke up with a heartbeat like a double kick drum. For once, it wasn’t rage in his chest - it was grace. Maybe it was just a dream. Maybe it was a memory he hadn’t lived yet.
And damn, it sang like fire.
