day 18. dark lady + the insider
hi, the time has come.
‘
dark lady’ is my comeback single after a fast-tour. in the track, i tell the story of a young lady who would enchant everyone she met, dancing in her black dress to the sound of gypsy music. she was a merchant, living on the road, fighting for her art. it’s a song that - at least to me lol - really captures that 60s/70s pop culture feeling. a little cabaret, a little jazz, a little pop. i always wanted to create an era with this sort of spooky 70s witch vibe. i had this song saved for years, and finally decided to turn it into a project. it’s coming out on july 8. this time i’m not so focused on big bangs, charts, or competitions… i just want to release music.
also, thank you so much to the hollywood club chain for hosting my concerts. now we’re heading into a world tour, with two shows in each city. can’t wait.
