sword fight 对剑
back in the day, when i had that little thing going on with joe, we were producing a song i wrote called sword fight, that late became a single featuring kiyoko and taemin. and you know, it’s kinda funny, because like… i honestly think that song is trash. for real. it’s so dumb and kinda vulgar, i guess? but somehow we managed to turn it into a hit and honestly, we deserve the credit for that.
this week, that song has been my soundtrack. especially after the shows. that silly little hummed chorus going 'take my sword, come to the fight' has been making a lot of sense. europe has its charms, madrid has been breathtaking. and soon we’ll be in latin america, and i’m pretty sure rio and são paulo have a few swords i wouldn’t mind taking to the fight. maybe being single isn’t that bad. better than walking around with a cheap diamond choker around my neck.
