It was Valentine’s Day. Her morning began with warm, sleepy cuddles with her husband. A soft, lovely smile spread across her face, it had been a while since she had felt his touch again, skin to skin, heart to heart.
Later, she strolled through town, her steps light with love. When she reached the flower shop, smiling as she picked out a handful of vibrant blooms, bright tulips, fragrant jasmine, and soft roses that reflected the gentle joy she felt inside.
Then she stopped by her favorite shop and carefully selected chocolates wrapped in shiny paper, along with a cake, a rich, decadent treat she knew would make him smile.
