Luvie looked stunning in the white dress she had just bought, a little too much, perhaps, considering she wasn’t the center of attention today. She was just a bridesmaid, yet she had chosen a dress that looked almost like a wedding gown, minus the bouquet.
She felt like she was more excited than the bride, but of course, that wasn’t true. When Luvie glanced at Abigail, she caught a flicker of nervousness in her expression. The sight made her laugh, memories of their past rushing back.
