Darlings, have you noticed a change in my tune? It seems this once-independent hummingbird, who soared through life with a carefree spirit and a penchant for mischief, has been grounded by the gravity of love. (Don't worry, my wings still work perfectly fine; it's just that my heart now has a favorite destination.)
My mornings begin with the sweet melody of my husband's voice, a symphony that chases away any lingering shadows and sets my soul alight. (Even my trusty assistant has caught me whispering sweet nothings to my beloved, though thankfully, I've managed to keep my sleep-talking serenades to a minimum.)
Life as a musician is a nomadic existence, a constant dance between cities and stages. But fate, it seems, has a penchant for romantic twists. Not only do I share my life with the most enchanting pianist in the world, but a tiny piece of him now resides within me, a love song growing stronger with each passing day.
But unlike Gregor Samsa, who awoke to a rather very pleasant transformation, I've blossomed into a creature of love, my heart overflowing with a symphony of affection for my husband, my family, and my slowly-growing belly. (And let's be honest, a little bit of love never hurt anyone, especially when it comes with a side of witty banter and impromptu dance-offs.)
