A Kraken Sized Confession (aka life Vol:2.0)

We did it.
We actually did it.
We… eloped.

Somewhere between Sir Mars insisting on an octopus-themed menu (I am still offended on behalf of all my pink octopi) and me waving little “SAVE THE KRAKEN” placards at him like a deranged sea activist… we looked at each other and realised:

Why wait?

Why let things get complicated when it’s already us?
It was always going to be us.

So we ran.
Not dramatically (okay, maybe a little).
But hand-in-hand, laughing too loudly, tripping over our own excitement, choosing love over logistics.

And now… I am Mrs. Strongheart.
Which feels like wearing a name made of sunshine and Christmas lights.

Mars keeps saying he’ll proudly face Mr. Perrone “like a man.”
I keep saying the original Mr. Perrone will chase him with a wooden spoon.
Both things can be true.

But honestly?
Who cares.
We’re married.
We’re happy.
We’re alive in the best possible way.

So here’s to our octopus-free wedding feast, our ridiculous adventure, and the new chapter we opened with a messy, perfect, well-earned “I do.”
