What a week, what a whirl, what a wildly glitter-infested ride! Your girl Olimpia survived the first selection of the PopOlympic Games, and it wasn’t just dancing, it was combat in stilettos.

Faced the fabulous foursome:
- Krista Wolf – fierce like a hurricane wrapped in latex
- Lucía Månsson – spins like she’s powered by double espresso
- Vicky Soon – dramatic hair flips included
- Fabiola Beckmann – poise, polish, graceful like a ballerina raised on techno

But guess what? I still danced my chaos into the next round, July 3rd, baby.

🕺 HONORARY SHOUTOUT: MAYOR DANNY ALLEGRI

I had the immense honour (and mild cardiac event) of sharing the floor with Mayor Danny Allegri himself.

Let me tell you, the man’s hips do things that should be declared illegal in several time zones. His legendary moves made me feel confused, but still, I held my own, maybe not at his level, but let’s just say… I didn’t embarrass the House of Colonna.

Between dance-offs, I found time to make some divine new friends and shoutout to Carolyn, my partner-in-gossip and emergency lipstick supplier.

Oh, and how could I forget...
Escondido Montanari, yes, that Escondido, who made sure my nights in Rome weren’t just wild on the dance floor.
