She steps out of her car, sunglasses on,
like some kind of secret rock diva Italy is yet to experience.
Heels hit the concrete like a metronome,
no time for sightseeing in her hands but when business calls,
she's got all the answers.
"Hai una pistola puntata contro di te"
Strange voice behind her resonates,
sudden attempt to turn around is met with a tough blow from the side.
"Aaaahh, what the fuck?!"
She screams in terror, instinctually wrapping her head with both of her arms, eyes closed partly from fear, partly pain.
The voice behind her laughs.
"Una turista? Perfetto. Kneel."
She doesn't dare to try turn around this time.
Running would be an option if not for the stupid heeled boots.
"What?..."
"On your knees, puttana, and keep your eyes closed."
With her face in palms she does as told
and reaches for the concrete.
"Take whatever you want, please,
just take whatever the hell you want man."
She readies herself to plead as her lip now throbs with pain.
"And that's exactly what I intend to do"
A cold blade brushes against the back of her pale neck, it releases the grip of a dear necklace. One of his hands swiftly moves towards her pocket and once the jackpot is found he softly whispers in her ear.
"Good girl, now stay like this and you'll be fine."
And so she does until the adrenaline comes rushing in with the full weight of hopelessness and frustration from not being able to control her fate just for a brief moment there.
