Right Place, Right Person.

Didn’t plan on this becoming my routine.
Different cities, different mornings,
same person I keep choosing to wake up next to.

She didn’t ask, she didn’t have to.
I just found myself wanting to be wherever she was.
Didn’t overthink it, didn’t question it.
It just felt right.

Tour life isn’t mine,
I don’t sing, don’t rehearse, don’t run stage cues.
But I find myself walking beside her
through airports, through backstage halls,
like it’s the easiest decision I’ve ever made.

She moves with this quiet confidence,
like she belongs in every crowd she steps into.
And I… I just fall into step next to her.
Cool on the outside.
Completely gone on the inside.

It’s only been a few days since we got engaged.
Still hits me in the smallest moments,
when she laughs,
when she talks to staff,
when she tries on her in-ear monitors
and calls me “my future husband” without thinking.

Sometimes, right before she goes on stage,
she gives me this quick look.
Not a request.
Not a question.
Just… checking if I’m there.

And I always am.

Not because she needs me.
She’s strong enough on her own.
I’m here because I want to see the world she shines in.
Because I want to be the first face she sees
after the lights go down.

She thinks I’m tagging along.
She doesn’t know
I’m choosing her, every city, every day.
