Vivian stared at the reflection in the mirror, just admiring how beautiful she looked. Then she let out a high-pitched squeal and spun around: "It's sooo cute! It's perfect. I love it! Thank you, thank you, thank you mum!" Bella had done a fantastic job covering up all the bruises, Vivian had collected over the past week through skateboarding and the last few MMA fights. They were basically invisible now.
"Mum did you have a prom date for your first prom?" Bella let out a chuckle and shook her head: "I didn't even care for boys yet when I was 12. I mostly agreed to go to prom, because Autumn and Katie kept telling me how much fun it is to dress up and dance on the big dance floor. Well I didn't care much for the dressing up part, but it sure was fun to show off our dance skills outside dance class for once. So the last thing you should be worried about is going to prom without a date. Just focus on having fun tonight and dance like no one is watching."
Vivian smirked at her mother and gave her a hug. Fun, that was exactly what Mr. Squier had told her. Well Vivian could not wait to experience this fun everyone was talking about. The limousine Bella organised for Vivi was definitely a good start.
