Madrid tastes like orange light through ancient windows. And I think I fell in love with the way the sun paints the stones, as if it’s trying to tell me stories I wasn’t there to hear. I walked streets that didn’t know my name, and still, they welcomed me, like an old melody that finds your heart even when you don’t remember the lyrics.
Everything here breathes differently. Time doesn’t rush. It waits for laughter, for small steps, for warm hands. And I think… maybe I’ve waited my whole life just to see the way morning light wraps around someone like him.
The city is beautiful, truly. But magic, the kind they write about in fairytales, it wasn’t in the buildings or the food or even the stars above. It was in a look. A voice. In a shared silence that made everything feel louder inside me.
I traveled miles to see a new world, and somehow, I found home in someone’s eyes.
