Lost somewhere
A few days ago, I realized lately I’d been feeling so apathetic toward everything. My smiles felt fake, and I couldn’t understand why I felt this way. Why didn’t I have any inspiration. Why couldn’t I see the point in anything I did. I keep finding distractions – things that excite me – but when the day ends, I’m still the same person, drowning in the shadows of melancholy. Maybe this just isn’t my season?
I don’t think another stroll around Paris will heal me, but maybe it’ll help me find my inspiration for writing songs again. Good ones. To bring me back.
