The future…
All the family and friends were there, but it could have just been the two of them. After all, he really didn’t notice anyone else, even after the wedding. “I kept waiting for you to change your mind.” He admitted afterwards when they were alone.
Standing on a stage, singing, easy. Stripping down in front of 10,000 fans, not a problem. Believing that he had finally landed the girl of his dreams, that was a challenge and once that he still couldn’t believe he had conquered.
Family, friends, well the truth was, they both believed in two families, the ones you were born into and the ones you chose. They had them both there and the evening and the night was spectacular.
“Feel any different?” He asked with a grin and he helped her out of the dress and then started to take off his own tie and suit. “I mean for me, I’m thinking, we are finally where we were meant to be baby.” He smiled and kissed her.
“Welcome to the rest of our lives.”
