As the soft notes of Actually Romantic filled the small space of Erica’s bathroom, she began getting ready for a night out. Lately, she had found herself staying inside her apartment more often than ever – but she didn’t mind. He was there with her. When they went to sleep, when they woke up, when they made breakfast – when they made love. The domesticated feeling she had once run from was now flowing through her veins straight to her heart. Because of him. Because of the way they teased each other, the way his laugh filled the room and warmed her heart, the way his eyes sparkled with mischief and made her melt, the way his touch sent electric waves through her body. Every time she thought of him, a small smile tugged at her lips.

As the playlist shifted to Opalite, Erica thought about the message behind the song – choosing happiness and creating your own joy in life. And she realized how much she had to look forward to: the crazy Christmas zombie hunt, the big and fancy New Year’s Inkigayo {2366523.1} gala, her new Erony swimwear line that she was pouring her heart and soul into, and all the hangouts with friends who always left her in tears from laughing too hard. And, of course, the two of them – all the firsts they were experiencing together.

As Erica read the message on her phone screen, a wide smile spread across her face. With a few final touches, she grabbed her things and went to meet her man.



Before closing the door, her eyes caught a glimpse of a red scarf on the kitchen counter. Her cheeks flushed as she smirked to herself, closed the door, and stepped out into the big, beautiful world.
