Moonmarked stood quiet at the edge of everything they had survived, a house chosen not for its beauty but for its silence. It belonged to Jae and Crimmy in the way lungs belong to breath. Inside those walls, the past loosened its grip. They began again slowly, fiercely, learning how to live without looking over their shoulders.
Love there was not gentle; it was obsessive, consuming, a hunger that never bothered to apologize. Jae moved through the rooms as if guarding a sanctuary, while Crimmy filled the space with warmth and joy all at once.
