Kobra-kai
“Forgiveness in death, but not a moment before it.” Kobra-kai was officially founded by Katsuro Sakoda (Kobra) in the year that he overtook Tokyo’s illegal drug distribution market and established Yuugen, a one-of-a-kind clinic and drug production facility that caters to those that can afford it’s high-end services.
In the years since establishment, Kobra-kai has grown significantly. In Tokyo, entire hotel chains, office buildings, and even a brothel (Kobra’s Nest) all exist under his indirect control. Only those worthy of gaining his trust are accepted into his exclusive network, and not one would dream of leaving it once they’re there.
With Kobra’s reputation as a ruthless businessman and criminal kingpin as a foundation, the members of Kobra-kai have worked relentlessly throughout the last several years to solidify their presence in and beyond Japan. Venom, a recreational street drug formulated by one of Kobra-kai’s own members, has given the entire group a presence in other countries that would not exist otherwise.
The members of Kobra-kai are a colorful group of people united under Kobra’s guidance. They all value loyalty, family, and perfect execution, but each one has their own way of demonstrating their dedication to their oyabun. Many are recognized for their ties to the group by the braille letter ‘K’ tattooed behind one ear - Kobra’s signature marking of those who carry out his will and exist under his protection.
Petty crime is scorned by members of Kobra-kai, but betrayal is the single greatest offense that any member can commit. Kobra doesn’t pursue any activity that won’t return to him as profit, but he’s known to make exceptions when it comes to exacting vengeance.
Unforgiving, cruel, and greedy beyond measure - these are the defining qualities of Kobra-kai that make their family something fearsome to behold.
Regarding social clubs
A social club is a place where people gather to fraternize and share common interests. The only way of becoming a member of a social club is to be invited by the club leader. All social clubs have a club house where the members meet.
VIPs can be a member of up to five social clubs at the same time, while non-VIPs can only be a member of one.
