So as you know, im used to having a million eyes on me, but nothing, absolutely nothing, compared to the moment I dropped to one knee and asked Cherry to be my wife.
We told everyone we were gathering for my sister Livi’s birthday party. That was the excuse. The truth? I just wanted all our people there. The ones who have been with us through every moment, every late, night conversation, every party, every event. OnlyHams Oasis Haven became the place where my life changed forever.
And then it happened.
I said some words, words that felt like they were pulled from somewhere deeper than I even knew existed. I told her she was my dream, my muse, my Cherry Queen. And in front of everyone, I asked her to spend forever with me.
She said yes.
And the world cracked open.
There was cheering, music, tequila shots flying through the air, someone (probably Johnny) throwing confetti they absolutely weren’t supposed to have. It was chaos. It was perfect. It was ours.
Then, the party is in full swing. People were dancing, laughing, living. And me? I kept stealing glances at the girl who just agreed to marry me, the girl I once thought I’d never find, the girl I never want to let go of.
Tonight, we celebrate. Tomorrow, we start forever.
