Johnny grew up on the rough streets of Birmingham, falling into trouble as a kid and running with the wrong crowd. His life turned around when a counsellor introduced him to drumming during his time in a youth detention centre.
Discovering rhythm as an outlet, Johnny left his troubled past behind and moved to London, where he’s trying to make it as a drummer.
He paired up with charismatic frontman
Dan Luther in the band
Spellbound Research.
Johnny is known for his no fucks given, raw energy and powerful stage presence, he hopes to be a fixture in the city’s music scene.
